New Healthy Menu Addition

New Healthy Menu Addition to Family Night a Big Success:
Last week Carol and Nanette added large butterfly shrimp pan fried in olive oil, mmmmm! Yummy and still healthy! But for those traditionalist out there this week Carol will be featuring Fried Shrimp also in trans fat free oil and Nanette’s soon to be famous fried chicken also in trans fat free oil.

This week the family night special starts at 4 PM and runs until 7 PM

These are the specials:
Nannette’s Soon to Be Famous: Succulent fried chicken and French Fries
Lenten Special 5 Large Butterfly Shrimp and French Fries or
5 Large Butterfly Shrimp pan fried in olive oil with special “light mayo” for those wanting to make healthier choices.

$6.00

As always everyday special: ½ sandwich and soup:
This week’s soup: wedding and beef stew
Soup and sandwich special $5.95.

New hours until Main St Bridge Opens Up

Carol has new hours until the Main St. Bridge opens up and also due to her family emergency with her daughter Toni.

Carol's will be open on Wednesday from 9 AM to 7 PM, From 4 PM to 7 PM Carol will continue to run her family night specials for $6.00.

Carol will also be open on Friday, Saturday and Sunday, from 9 AM to 3 PM.

Carol's will not be open, Monday, Tuesday and Thursday.

Carol thanks you for your understanding and patronage in supporting home cooked meals in the West End of Pittsburgh.

Don't forget to check out family night specials which include fried chicken and potato salad, stuffed pork chops and greens and a new special each week.

Second Blood Drive for Toni Carmichael

Thank you to all who came out for the blood drive for Toni Carmichael. Over 35 units of blood were donated. Carol was overwhelmed by the amount of support from the community. There were so many who wanted to donated and could not get in that the Blood Bank agreed to do another blood drive on April 27, 2009 from 10 AM to 6 PM, please watch for details.
